define credibility jim gibson. BO is constantly debunked. he constantly contridicts himself. He is an industry joke. KO on the other hand, actually has to uphold standards (or are we going to pretend that pox news is anything but a modern propaganda outfit? really? the president is never wrong?)

Jim- Obama's running for president, not his pastor. I agree that Keith is quite a bit biased in favor of Obama but at least he doesn't try to fool anybody into thinking he's not by repeatingly bashing you over the head with "fair and balanced". The entire network at Faux News is far from that. I don't understand some of the outrage expressed towards Keith? He's just the opposite of Billo. and as I previously stated it brings out the same kind of reaction from his fans that Billo would have himself; name calling and threats. Nobody's perfect including Keith but come one. Bill O'reilly's character that he plays on TV is ugly. And I don't mean physically. He's just a jerk. Yeah he has people on with differing opinions but he yells over them and at them. O'reilly is the stereotype of why most of the rest of the planet hate Americans.

Please explain: Why such outrage the prompted his "Special Comment" against Hillary for not cutting up Geraldine F. when the very next night this Jeremiah Wright thing broke and KO gets all exercised about those willing to throw Oboma under the bus.
The same week KO's selective outrage against John McCain over that preacher Haggee's remarks
(who McCain barely knew), but he isn't the slightest disturbed about Oboma's own pastor of 20 years spewing his hate?
Olbermann's loyalists must follow him for the intertainment of watching his carnaval, they can't be loyalists because they think he is such an outstanding "reporter" of real news.
He is so in the tank for Oboma and his followers don't have the slightest clue about that.

In all his time on air has BO ever even said the name Keith Olbermann? I think if he has'nt then it must be because of Keith's inability as a true journalist. Kind of like comparing apples and oranges. I think sense Bo's so far above him he should at least ask a light weight conservative on his show, that way he may add some sort of credibilty to his show. Why not try? That would boost his ratings at least.

KO is the best thing to happen to MSNBC. that vocal 21% of the country which wants the sort of stuff on FOX are already there (though less are showing up each month)

meanwhile MSNBC replaced tucker carlson, a pox new's style coolaid drinker/talking points spouter/faux outrage pretender with dan abrahms and the ratings went WAY up.

MSNBC is the future. as more and more of the other 79% of this country begins to wake up and shake off the distractions, fox will become increasingly marginalized.

More ratings, same comments. Those predicting the demise of KO obviously don't follow the ratings, because he is far and away the top rated series on MSNBC. He's almost doubled his audience over the past year. Regardless of how far back he is of BOR, MSNBC is making a killing on his show, and that's all that matters to them.

Both seem to be increasing their audience now as the lead-up to the election dawns, but those numbers will fall of afterwards.

O'Reilly blows Olbermann out in total viewership. However, in the key demographic that advertisers pay attention to, the 25-54 age group is a win for O'Reilly but not by as much.

the fact is for 25-54 (which is what our industry friends universally say they care about) the race is noticeably tighter.

I agree with Scooby. KO is verbalizing what many, many people think of Billo. I watch Billo sometimes just to hear the stupid things that come out of his mouth. I don't think there is one iota of jealousy, insecurity, or obsession that Keith has for Billo. I think Keith is just doing an excellent of pointing out what a douchebag Billo is.

I think it's funny when KO does a verbal smackdown on BillO. He says what so many other people truly think and does it on air in front a million people. Then BillO replies with attacks on GE and MSNBC (ususally far fetched or outright wrong). But refuses to mention Olbermann, because BillO is a coward and can't go toe to toe with the man.

One has to conclude that it must be a matter of jealousy to be so obsessed by a rival - Or KO's self-hate and insecurite. KO must go home and watch the rerun of BO every night.
KO really needs to get a life. Anyone that angry and bitter has issues and needs a rest or some major counseling.

The Spin Zone was introduced to me via Olbermann's rants. I've since found other's went the same route in order to understand why all the attention to someone on another network. So,the more O'R is used as a part of MSNBC's Countdown, the more watchers will check to see why Spin Zone deserves all the free time on another network. FOX should thank Olbermann for some of their numbers. Keep 'em comin'. No one with skill would promote another network on his own time. Inferior thinking.

The demo ratings are seem to actually be very close, but KO's numbers will take a fall when Bush is no longer president.(Unless clinton gets elected, but that will probably be just as good for o'reily as olberman)People watch KO to watch him bash Bush.
